
This is a house design with the concept behind the renovation and expansion of the concrete block wall of a house in Maleny, on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Structure of the building facing the inland hills and down to Brisbane and aims to provide a sustainable retreat for a couple of retirees who like to entertain and good. Designed by architect Sparks with the selection of materials recycled wood from telegraph poles 60 years. Interior of the building to create space that can be used, accommodating visitors and providing a dynamic design, which meets the needs of its people, a terrace and a large amount of glass – to expand into skillion roof in place – opening up the internal space to the outside, creating a sense of home without walls.
