Chalet Zermatt Peak has been created not only as a technical marvel, but a truly inspirational design project with many items bespoke designed and hand made.

After dynamiting 3000 m3 of
rock face to create a base into the mountainside, the 685m2 luxury
chalet with 5 floors and 136m2 of external terraces was created overlooking, and taking into account, the exceptional views from above Zermatt and to the iconic Matterhorn, embracing the surrounding mountain scape.

A special ground source heat system and
power generation system was designed using 12 x 175m drillings under the house which provide nearly 100% of the chalets heating, ventilation and power requirements, reducing external energy requirements to the minimum.

No expense has been spared to create this unique living space using only the finest materials from around the world including
European nutwood, high grade
stainless steel and chain work, Murrano &
Swarovski crystals, Brazilian marble, Italian granite, American teak and redwood, specially created plaster works and high grade selected leather.

The chalet has 5 double bedroom suites with individual dressing and bathroom areas, open-plan living - library - kitchen and dining area, ski room, walk-in wine cellar and a full luxury wellness spa. The spa includes a bespoke indoor-outdoor Jacuzzi, state-of-the-art gym, sauna, steam room, power showers and designer changing area. Around the pool are hand-made bespoke loungers to create a relaxation area.

Other features included in the design are a second outdoor kitchen and dining area for all year round al-fresco dining, floating feature real-wood fireplace, bio fire tables located inside and outside, a glass and crystal light column in the stairwell and internal see-through lift. Every single bed, table, chair, bar stool, wall, floor and ceiling light have been carefully designed and hand built.

In order to preserve the Alpine feel, yet creating a modern environment, the chalet design incorporates exposed beams and wooden facades, as well as natural exposed mountain stone. Luxury throws and furs are used to add warmth and comfort.
