The Opera Garnier’s first ever restaurant has opened in July 2011 and has become Paris’ toughest reservation. After three attempts over the last 136 years, Charles Garnier’s wish was granted and in his words, ‘a restaurant worthy of my Opera,’ has been completed.

The first floors of the Atlanta building, designed by F. A. Warners in 1925, were recently refurbished and renovated.  The result is an extension of Tommy Hilfiger’s European headquarters with a new restaurant a bar.  Peoples Place will be used for pre-sale events and meetings for both staff, guests and business customers.  The design collaboration between Marc Prosman Architecten and Daniel O’Kelly of Tommy Hilfiger was intended to exude an ambiance referring to the atmosphere of a dining experience in America from the 1950s.

The apartment, designed by for a young art collectors family, is located in Berlin Tiergarten by the river Spree. Faced with challenge of transforming an older apartment into a contemporary space is difficult enough, but the practice also had to take into account the client’s need for plenty of space to accommodate an art collection.

The property is comprised of a very generously proportioned reception room, large formal dining room, family room, cinema and pool room, all located on the lower 3 floors.  The entire first floor is occupied by the master suite, with the remaining two floors taken up by 5 further bedrooms and en suite bathrooms.
