Sriash’ residence is pure urban house. The design spring from staircase as a tree that bears fruitful spaces. The modest entry welcomes us to the one and half height volume of guest living space. It leads to five steps level of family living, kitchen and dining space. Steps/ staircase is embryo of the house. From family living level you climb ten steps, it opens to home theatre. From that mid level, you climb again it opens to study space and links to two children bedrooms. From the study space you could look down to the family living.

American architectural firm Yazdani Studio of Cannon Design has designed an iconic Taj Hotel for Taj Lands End design competition entry in Mumbai, India. The hotel is developed from the idea of “wave” that shaped by fins from its podium to hotel tower, while creating a cascade of terraces and decks at southern edges, it extends the visual connection into the sea’s edge beyond.
"The hotel is expressed as a refined volume shaped by parallel fins which rise, fall, bend and extend to encompass multiple spatial experiences. From this rhythmic form, entrances are carved, canopies and terraces extended, public spaces revealed, and sea views framed."

Palmyra House : By Studio Mumbai

Studio Mumbai names two louvered boxes Palmyra house after a popular Indian tree
The Palmyra House is set in a working coconut plantation. So as not to disturb the land, much of the house was built by hand by the architect's longstanding team of carpenters.
It is said that the Palmyra tree can be used in 800 different ways. Its leaves make fine hats, thatching, umbrellas, mats, and baskets; its fruits and their sap, popularly called toddy, are a local delicacy. Architect Bijoy Jain, however, is perhaps the only person who has named a house after it. He designed the Palmyra House with signature louvers made from the tree’s cut, dried, and locally harvested wood, setting a course of using sustainable, regional materials to guide the project.
